The IUCN has listed the Black Rhino, Javan Rhinoceros, and Sumatran Rhinoceros as critically endangered and Greater One-horned Rhino as vulnerable.

Photo taken in South Africa. The photo is of a rhino walking, taken from the left side. The rhino’s head and half body take up the screen. The fold in the top of the left leg indicates the left leg is lifted and in motion. There is a small bird, an oxpecker, in the right top corner of the photo sitting on the back of the rhino. There is a little bit of vegetation hanging out of the rhino’s mouth.
